Avoid Impactions

With impacted majors and programs becoming the norm in public institutions in California, students will have many more options and opportunities when looking at these same desired programs that are offered out-of-state. In addition,  each year, the CSU and UC Systems become more selective, which, in many cases, leaves the ‘B’ students with very few options.  Our out-of-state fairs bring in the colleges and universities who are actively recruiting students for their programs.

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) FAQ’s
WUE (pronounced “woo-wee”) is the Western Undergraduate Exchange. Fourteen of the western states participate in the Western Undergraduate Exchange or WUE, where qualifying students from California can study in another participating public college or university for 150 percent of in-state tuition. A great example is Northern Arizona University, which charges approximately $12,000 ($8000 X 1.5) in tuition for those coming from one of the WUE states.

WUE is a regional tuition-reciprocity agreement that students can use to enroll in 145+ participating two- and four-year public institutions. WUE is the largest program of its kind in the nation, and has been in operation since 1987! WUE is not a short term exchange—it is meant to be used for a full degree. More..
